Ortho Clinical Diagnostics: Chris Smith, David Perez

Ortho Clinical Diagnostics has appointed its CEO Chris Smith as chairman of the company's board, effective Sept. 1. He succeeds Robert Yates, who will remain as a member of the board. Additionally, Ortho appointed David Perez as an independent member of the board. He is the former president and CEO of Terumo BCT, a biomedical company focused on blood and cell-based therapies.
