Brian Caveney

Brian Caveney will join Laboratory Corporation of America as enterprise-wide chief medical officer on Sept. 25. He will report to LabCorp Chairman and CEO David King. In the newly created role, Caveney will oversee LabCorp’s medical and scientific strategy, and serve as the company’s primary external medical representative, defining global standards for medical and scientific activities across LabCorp’s diagnostic and drug development businesses. Caveney is currently chief medical officer of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina.
