Lyme Disease Biobank
Bay Area Lyme Foundation has launched the Lyme Disease Biobank. The biobank provides researchers with blood and urine samples from people with acute Lyme disease from multiple regions across the country. Currently, samples from more than 260 individual participants are available for study. In order to receive samples for study, researchers must undergo a peer-review process by three members of the Lyme Disease BioBank reviewer pool, the organization said.
