The Business Lead – Infection and Immune Diagnostics is accountable for designing and managing the product portfolio within his/her business segment (Clinical IVD). Coach and develop GPM team, attract new talent to the organization and manage current marketing team. With the Franchise lead, develop strategy for the franchise for TB Management and Transplantation diagnostics grounded in a well developed marketing strategy. Design and promote portfolio of products and medical solutions. Manage Global Product Managers to achieve the agreed-upon business objectives and customer requirements of each product line.
- Lead Global Product Managers in ensuring the definition and refinement of business plans, global marketing plans, launch plans and market acceptance throughout the product monitoring process for the business segment
- With the Franchise Lead, develop strategy for the franchise with key product platforms to focus on as well as developing marketing strategy
- Responsible for intra-business segment project selection and proposal between programs
Work closely with regional commercial teams to support and drive successful product launches and near term revenue and profitability goals on the local level
Set and communicate a clear vision for QIAGEN’s portfolio of solutions for TB and Transplant Diagnostics and Management
Establish QIAGEN brand as a strong presence in the clinical IVD space through demand creation and market development plans and activities
Energize and rally the Global Marketing team
