Pharma-Cruiting Life Sciences Executive Search is seeking a Sales Specialist for a global provider to the In Vitro Diagnostic Industry. Our client provides human & animal specimen services and IVD evaluations on devices and reagents throughout the United States.

This position will sell into R&D and clinical affairs teams at diagnostic companies throughout the United States. Relationships are key so please only apply if you have existing relationships in this field.

The successful candidate will be a strong, autonomous business development professional with demonstrated experience managing progressively larger accounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a strategy for analyzing, identifying and developing new business opportunities in the in vitro diagnostic industry into tactical plans.
  • Establish and maintain key business relationships within this industry.
  • Align our clients’ specimen solution portfolio with new customer trends.
  • Implement pricing strategy and negotiate terms with new and existing US customers.
  • Coordinate and control budgets and processes working closely with finance and project management.

 

Requirements

Qualifications (Education and Experience)

  • Bachelor’s degree, with a background bio/lab science
  • Minimum 2 years experience selling biospecimens OR equipment OR supplies into invitro diagnostic companies.
  • Excellent oral and written skills as you interface with US customers and corporate HQ
  • Proficient in Excel and PPT
  • Excellent analytical skills to translate service requirements
