Job Description

* Develop, implement, and oversee the continuous advancement of HIV and health care-related public policy and advocacy activities.

* Provide support for the programs’ long-term viability, Clinical Fellowship Award Program, Medical Students Program, and Association Awards, through strategic planning and coordination with HIVMA’s committees.

* Maintain communications with fellows, mentors, and medical students to offer support and monitor progress yearly and annually.

* Identify marketing opportunities to solicit nominations and to develop promotional materials.

* Establish strategies for promoting and growing the programs and recruiting applicants.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree. Minimum 2 to 3 year’s work experience in health care or public health policy. Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills. Intermediate level proficiency in working with Microsoft Office software. Experience and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Other Desirable Qualifications:
Experience and/or interest in HIV and/or health policy. Basic grant writing experience. Basic knowledge of HTML, content management systems, and graphics programs a plus.
