Job Description

GenomeWeb is seeking a Custom Content Editor to oversee all content-related aspects of our growing custom advertising and lead-generation business. The Custom Content Editor will write, edit, and curate content for a variety of sponsored programs while maintaining the editorial standards of the GenomeWeb newsroom.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable writing and editing scientific/technical content and will have a background in scientific journalism, technical writing, and/or life science public relations. This is a client-facing role that reports to GenomeWeb’s CEO with dotted-line reporting to the marketing and ad sales department heads.

  • Minimum of three years of experience writing scientific/technical copy
  • Proven ability to produce clean, error-free copy while meeting deadlines
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects at once
  • Digital portfolio of recent and relevant published work.
