Technical Account Manager - France. The Technical Account Manager works with Distributors and with Direct Customers to train, educate, troubleshoot with and provide other support to customers in the territory. Parlay those relationships into effective growth with a continuous focus on sustaining and generating new business in the territory.
Core Responsibilities Include:
Visits customers and provides outstanding Customer Service and support.
Trains customers and IVS employees as needed, providing scientific and/or technical expertise as related to the application and implementation of company products.
Assures customers are educated and trained in the understanding and running of IVS products.
Takes a lead role in assigned territory in the implementation of sales strategies and tactics in support of sales objectives.
Acts as a sales driver for the reagent and services portfolios by identifying, developing and implementing key growth initiatives to support corporate goals.
Provides customer feedback and guidance regarding product performance and future product development based on market expectations and needs.
Develops KOL relationships to support the Sales and Marketing efforts.
Assists in the development of sales plans, as well as identifying areas of concern and in modifying programs to address changes in the marketplace.
Utilizes sales plan into tactical action deliverables, while supporting and exploring new ways of customer interaction.
Engages new customers in person or online.
Manages and keeps up to date, with all Distributor Agreements and activities.
BS Degree in Molecular Biology, Genetics or related scientific field of study and 2+ years’ experience in the lab in academia. PhD is a plus.
Relevant experience in Molecular and/or Oncology Diagnostic assay design or performance is preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint) and the ability to learn new software programs.
Proficient in the use of Salesforce.com to document customer interactions.
Experience with IVS developed software is advantageous.
