Job Description

The Opportunity

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Site Lead, Head of Operations in Pompano, Florida. This position manages all Plant Activities for Manufacturing, Operations Engineering, Formulation, Production Maintenance, Environmental Health and Safety, Facilities Management, Administration, Materials Management, Warehousing, and Product Support.

The Responsibilities

Establish and drive achievement of site goals for quality, delivery, compliance, cost, productivity, safety, environmental and personal development

Ensure alignment of priorities, goals and resources with support groups such as Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain, QRC, Finance, HR, IT, and Customer Service

Supervise cross-functional staff including goal setting, performance appraisals, training, compensation planning, conflict resolution and corrective actions, hiring and terminating

Provide communications to the site for relevant business topics and business results

Develop and monitor spending, headcount, manufacturing capacity and capital budget, and annual project list

Ensure Purchase Requisitions and Supplier Invoices are reviewed and approved in a timely manner.

Review and approve documents such as CAPAs, NC's, RCI’s, Batch Records, Work Instructions, Validations, Change Orders, and Engineering Acceptance Test protocols and reports

Key person onsite during all internal and external audits.

Manufacturing Data Collection and Analytics

Maintain Audit-Ready Training Records

Managing the staff's performance, ensuring the smooth delivery of daily operations, and guiding the successful project completion by maximizing the staff's productivity

Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

The Individual

BA/BS required, MA/MS/MBA Preferred

7+ years of related experience in the following:

Familiarity with Relevant CFR and ISO requirements related to Mfg. Demonstrated ability and knowledge of Process Excellence and tools Experience in budget management and cost accounting

People management experience required – will lead a team of 5-8 directs and 60 indirect.

Strong oral and written communication skills

Demonstrated leadership capability of staff and peers

Proficient in excel

Good understanding of Manufacturing Plant Finance metrics

Ability to read plant layouts

Ability to perform capacity planning

Working knowledge of ERP systems for Manufacturing and Warehousing

Up to 10% travel required.
