Right here, where you will lead the development and delivery of large integrated customer solutions by redefining broad concepts into structured programs, leading the design and delivery of multi-national/multi-partner projects, delivering solutions for complex, high-impact issues, and building effective client relationships.


In this role, the experienced project manager supports the sale and manages the solution design/development of extensive service projects to external customers; often involving multi-function and multi-vendor efforts. These projects can include but are not limited to: Asset Management Program implementation, relocation of customer assets, facility inventories, and other projects as identified and needed.


The desired candidate for this position can determine the overall project plan, budget, structure, schedule, and staffing requirements. They will assist our external customers in the definition and implementation of complex integrated solutions requiring CrossLab services. They are responsible for the pricing of customized solutions and ensuring implementation or delivery within specified goals

Candidates must be located in the San Francisco/Santa Clara, CA area. Travel will be approximately 50%


  • 8+ years of professional work experience
  • 6+ years of laboratory technical experience or laboratory instrument service and maintenance experience (prefer pharmaceutical Instrumentation experience)
  • Basic GMP and GLP experience preferred
  • Familiarity with Project Management training or equivalent experience and demonstrated PM concepts and tools a must
  • Effective collaboration skills required
  • Ability to manage and understand laboratory instrument service and maintenance business (process & financial). Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred
  • Experience working with external customer required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
  • Experience collaborating with 3rd party service providers preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to price and implement complex lab instrument service and maintenance programs at customer sites preferred -- experience pricing projects desired
  • Experience using relational Database knowledge using ad-hoc reporting tools to extract data and create and analyze custom reports
  • Lean Six Sigma background not mandatory but a plus
  • Familiarity with the following software is required - Microsoft office (Excel/word / Share Point). Additional software such as Maximo, SAP, or other Data management software, MS Project, Visio, Smart Sheet or other project management software knowledge is desired
  • Ability and willingness to travel. While some work may be in local area and home office other projects may require extensive travel
