NEW YORK – EliTech Group announced Tuesday its SARS-CoV-2 Plus Elite MGB Kit received CE marking and has been launched.
The kit detects and distinguishes between SARS-CoV-2, influenza A/B, and respiratory syncytial virus types A and B, the company said in a statement. It runs on the firm's Elite InGenius platform, as well as other major PCR thermocyclers.
In March, the company received Emergency Use Authorization from the US Food and Drug Administration for its GeneFinder COVID-19 Plus RealAmp Kit in partnership with OsangHealthcare. The kit also runs on EliTech's InGenius platform and is authorized for use with nasopharyngeal, oropharyngeal, nasal, and mid-turbinate nasal swab specimens.
