Vital Biosciences: Douglas Bryant

Former QuidelOrtho President and CEO Douglas Bryant has been appointed to the board of directors of point-of-care blood testing firm Vital Biosciences. Bryant held the president and CEO positions at QuidelOrtho from 2009, when it was called Quidel, until this past February, when he was terminated by the company. He also previously held leadership roles at Abbott Laboratories and Luminex. Toronto-based VitalBio is developing its VitalOne analyzer to perform routine blood tests at the point of care.
