T2 Biosystems: Brett Giffin, Anthony Pare

T2 Biosystems has hired Brett Giffin as chief commercial officer. Giffin previously served as CEO for two early-stage medical technology companies, as COO at Accriva Diagnostics, and in sales and marketing leadership roles at Datascope, Covidien, Boston Scientific, and Johnson & Johnson. He replaces Anthony Pare, who has accepted a role as CEO at in vitro diagnostics firm BioPorto.
