Synaps Dx: Alberto Espay, David Morgan, Giulio Taglialatela, Lon Schneider

Synaps Dx has appointed Alberto Espay, David Morgan, Giulio Taglialatela, and Lon Schneider to its newly formed scientific advisory board.

Espay will chair the board. He has published more than 300 peer-reviewed research articles and directed the Cincinnati Cohort Biomarker Program study, the first biomarker study of aging designed to match people with neurodegenerative disorders to available therapies.

Morgan is director of the Alzheimer's Alliance and the Michigan State University Foundation professor of translational neurosciences.

Taglialatela is vice chair for research of the department of neurology at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) and the director of the UTMB Mitchell Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases.

Schneider is professor of psychiatry, neurology, and gerontology at Keck School of Medicine and Leonard Davis School of Gerontology of the University of Southern California. He directs the USC California AD Center and co-directs the clinical core of the USC NIA AD Research Center.
