Renalytix: Joseph Hutson

Renalytix has appointed Joseph Hutson its VP of quality and regulatory. He has more than 23 years of experience in the life sciences industry including in quality and regulatory matters at Cardinal Health, CareFusion, Becton Dickinson, and Abbott Diagnostics. Most recently he led quality, global and clinical compliance at Abbott where he had a role in the rapid development, Emergency Use Authorizations, manufacturing scale up, and global distribution of the firm's COVID-19 tests. He was previously worldwide VP of quality and regulatory at Becton Dickinson Respiratory Solutions.

At Renalytix, Hutson will be in charge of compliance with US and international quality management system regulations and standards for the approval of products under the KidneyIntelX brand by the US Food and Drug Administration, the European Medicines Agency, and other regulatory bodies.
