Premier Medical Laboratory Services: Daniel Hughes

Premier Medical Laboratory Services (PMLS) has named Daniel Hughes director of bioinformatics. He will lead the startup in scientific development for human diseases, risk scores, and COVID-19 variant identification. Hughes joins PMLS after serving as director of cancer knowledge base and pharmaceutical services at M2Gen. He previously worked on the VectorBase project at the US National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and on the Ensembl genome project at the European Bioinformatics Institute.
