Opko Health: Richard Lerner

Opko Health announced that Richard Lerner, a member of the firm's board of directors, passed away. He served as a member of the board from 2007 to 2021 and as president of the Scripps Research Institute from 1986 to 2012. He also acted as a professor at the institute and a member of Scripps' Skagg's Institute for Chemical Biology. Lerner was elected a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences and the US National Academy of Sciences.
