Meridian Bioscience: David Phillips

Meridian Bioscience announced that Chairman of the Board David Phillips will retire from the board and not seek reelection when his term ends in January 2022. When Phillips retires, the board will elect a new chair from the current members and won't fill his vacated seat, reducing the board to eight members. 

Phillips joined the board in 2000 and has served as chairman since 2018. He was previously CEO of Downtown Cincinnati, a nonprofit to economically revitalize the city's downtown district. He also worked at accounting firm Arthuer Andersen in several managing partner leadership positions and at Cincinnati Works, an organization to help reduce the number of people living below the poverty line in the city.
