Deepull: Kimberle Chapin, Wade Stevenson
Infectious disease diagnostics company Deepull of Barcelona, Spain, has appointed Kimberle Chapin as chief medical officer and Wade Stevenson as chief marketing and sales officer.
Chapin is a professor of medicine as well as pathology and laboratory medicine at the Warren Alpert School of Medicine at Brown University. Previously, she was chief medical officer at Cepheid and director of clinical microbiology and molecular diagnostics for infectious diseases at Lifespan Academic Medical Center. She holds an MD and an MSc in molecular genetics and microbiology from the University of Massachusetts and a BS in biology from Boston College.
Stevenson previously held various roles at BioFire Diagnostics, now part of BioMérieux, including VP North America for clinical marketing. Previously, he was VP of marketing at Roche's US molecular laboratory. He holds an MBA from the University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School and a BS in zoology from Brigham Young University.
