BIVDA: Helen Dent

Helen Dent has been appointed chief executive of the British In Vitro Diagnostic Association. She had been interim chief executive of the association and before that, she was chief operating office at BIVDA. Prior to joining the association, Dent was at Abbott Diagnostics, and she has experience as national contracts manager at UK National Health Service's Blood and Transplant, as well as pharmacy buyer for Surrey and Sussex NHS Supply Management Confederation and the NHS Purchasing and Supply Agency.
