Bio-Me: Carl Christian Gilhuus-Moe, Hilde Furberg, Anne-Marie Duus Kristensen, Arne Materna
Microbiome profiling company Bio-Me announced that it has restructured its board with the appointment of Carl Christian Gilhuus-Moe as its executive chair and Hilde Furberg, Anne-Marie Duus Kristensen, and Arne Materna as new members.
Gilhuus-Moe has been an observer on the Bio-Me board for six months. He will be involved in the firm at an operational and strategic level. Gilhuus-Moe was the founding president and CEO of Dynal Biotech, now part of Thermo Fisher Scientific. He is a senior advisor at NeoMed Management, a European venture capital fund; chair of Sonitor Technologies; a board member of Respinor and Cardiaccs; and a member of Excite International's executive board.
Furberg has served as the senior vice president and head of rare diseases for the European Union at Sanofi Genzyme, and is currently a board member of Calliditas, Tappin, PCI Biotech, OncoZenge, and Herantis.
Duus Kristensen is a board member and investor, and an advisor to several health tech startups. She was CEO of Skodsborg Health Center and a business developer at the Skandia and AP pension funds.
Materna held management positions at CLC Bio and Qiagen, was VP of products at CosmosID, and is the CEO of Ares Genetics.
