American Association for Clinical Chemistry: Anthony Killee, Christopher McCudden, Laura Parnas, Christina Lockwood, Allison Chambliss, Kacy Peterson, Deborah French, James Nichols, Nicole Tolan

The American Association for Clinical Chemistry has made a number of new appointments to its leadership team.

Anthony Killen has been elected as president of the board of electors starting in August 2023. Killen is a professor of laboratory medicine and pathology and the director of clinical laboratories at the University of Minnesota Medical Center. He is currently chair of AACC's Education Core Committee and was previously board secretary.

Christopher McCudden has been named AACC secretary. He is a clinical biochemist at Ottawa Hospital as well as professor and vice chair of the department of pathology and laboratory medicine at the University of Ottawa. He is currently a member of AACC's board of directors.

Laura Parnas, Christina Lockwood, Allison Chambliss, and Kacy Peterson have been named to AACC's board of directors. Chambliss will serve as president of the AACC Academy. Peterson will chair the Clinical Laboratory Scientists Council.

Deborah French, James Nichols, and Nicole Tolan have been named to AACC's Nominating Committee. French is an assistant director of chemistry and director of mass spectrometry at UCSF Clinical Laboratories. Nichols is a professor of pathology, microbiology, and immunology; medical director, clinical chemistry and point-of-care testing at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. Tolan is an assistant professor of pathology at Harvard Medical School; co-medical director, clinical chemistry laboratory, medical director, mass spectrometry and point-of-care testing, at Brigham and Women’s Hospital; and CLIA laboratory and medical director at Mass General Brigham Home Care
