Agilent Technologies: Otis Brawley
Agilent Technologies has elected Otis Brawley, a Bloomberg distinguished professor at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, to the firm's board of directors, effective Nov. 17.
Brawley is also a member of the National Cancer Institute Board of Scientific Advisors and the National Academy of Medicine. Prior to Johns Hopkins, for 11 years, he was chief medical and scientific officer and executive vice president for research at the American Cancer Society. Brawley has also served as director of the Georgia Cancer Center and chief of hematology and oncology at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta. He previously held medical and academic roles at Emory University and various roles at the National Cancer Institute.
