Vermillion Inks OVA1 Coverage Agreement With TriCare's HealthNet Federal Services

NEW YORK (360Dx) – Vermillion said today that its subsidiary Aspira Labs has entered an in-network contract agreement for its OVA1 ovarian cancer test with TriCare's HealthNet Federal Services.

Tricare is the healthcare program for active and returned military service members and their families. With the agreement, which is effective January 1, 2018, OVA1 is covered through TriCare for more than 9.4 million lives, Vermillion said.

"The expanded contract is significant as it increases coverage to our uniformed service members and their families," Vermillion COO Fred Ferrara said in a statement. "We continue to pursue key contracts at favorable rates while further expanding access to our technology."
