NEW YORK — Digital pathology firm OptraScan said on Thursday that it has received CE marking for its OS-Ultra line of brightfield scanners.
According to the San Jose, California-based company, the scanners have a loading capacity of 80 to 480 histopathology and cytopathology slides and can scan tissues or cells with a 15 millimeter by 15 millimeter area at 40-times magnification in less than a minute.
OptraScan Founder and CEO Abhi Gholap said the CE mark "will enhance the acceptability of OS-Ultra systems across the globe."
