NEW YORK — ABL Diagnostics said Wednesday that it has signed an agreement for the distribution of its infectious disease molecular assays in India with Genient Tech Private.
Under the terms of the deal, New Delhi-based Genient will exclusively market and sell ABL's DeepChek line of sequencing-based assays and its UltraGene series of PCR-based viral load detection assays throughout India.
Financial and other terms were not disclosed.
The deal with Genient marks the latest in a series of distribution pacts ABL has struck recently. Last month, ABL — a subsidiary of France's Advanced Biological Laboratories — partnered with Tokyo-based Riken Genesis to promote and commercialize its infectious disease tests in Japan.
About a year ago, it inked a distribution agreement for its molecular assays and software to microbiology laboratories in Spain with Palex. Around that time, it also signed on AB Analitica to commercialize microbiology genotyping solutions in Italy.
