NEW YORK (360Dx) – Genesis Biotechnology Group announced today that it has acquired the assets of 4path, an Illinois-based anatomic and clinical pathology lab.

According to Genesis, the acquisition is expected to expand the reach of its diagnostics branch — which includes Hamilton, New Jersey-based Medical Diagnostic Laboratories — and allow it to establish a rapid response clinical lab in the Midwest.

Specific terms of the deal were not disclosed.
