NEW YORK – Quest Diagnostics said Tuesday that it is collaborating with Google to use Google Cloud's data analytics and generative AI technologies in its lab operations.
Quest said it aims through the collaboration to streamline data management, improve data analytics, and personalize the experiences of its patients, providers, and other customers.
Financial and other terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
The parties will explore the use of generative AI in a number of areas including providing patients and physicians with personalized health insights based on their lab data. The collaboration builds on Quest's ongoing efforts to implement AI and automation to improve its operations.

"By combining Google Cloud's cutting-edge AI and data analytics capabilities with Quest's vast network and deep healthcare expertise, we're helping improve diagnostics and patient care."
