Todos Medical, L1 Systems Enter Cross-Distribution Agreement for Ventilators, Coronavirus Tests

NEW YORK ─Todos Medical said Tuesday that it has entered into a cross-distribution agreement with L1 Systems, a subsidiary of Omer, Israel-based Medigus, for the distribution of COVID-19 related products.

Under the agreement, L1 will have non-exclusive distribution rights to Todos' testing products, including RNA extraction equipment, RNA extraction reagents, qPCR reagents, digital PCR reagents, and SARS-CoV-2 rapid point-of-care antibody test kits.

L1 will make available its LifeCan ventilators to Todos for non-exclusive distribution in Mexico and Latin America. LifeCan ventilators are manufactured by Elbit Systems, Todos said.

The agreement strengthens the firms' core offerings and allows each to focus on markets where they are developing sales channels, said Todos, an in vitro diagnostics firm based in Rehovot, Israel.

Financial and other terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Todos believes that gaining access to "a high-quality medical grade ventilator will further bring attention to [its] test offering due to the severe global shortage [of] ventilators," Gerald Commissiong, the firm's president and CEO, said in a statement.

The company announced in March that it had inked an exclusive agreement with Gibraltar Brothers & Associates to distribute a rapid point-of-care kit in the US and Israel that detects antibodies against SARS-CoV-2.
