NEW YORK – Thermo Fisher Scientific said Wednesday that it has inked an exclusive distribution agreement with German life sciences product supplier Aesku Group to market, sell, and support its portfolio of US Food and Drug Administration-cleared immunofluorescence (IFA) products, automated instruments, and software in the US.
As part of the agreement, Thermo Fisher will provide US customers access to a series of autoimmune diagnostics and automated instrumentation products by Aesku, leveraging both the EliA autoimmune testing portfolio and Phadia laboratory instruments with Aesku’s IFA testing and Helios HTC systems.
Thermo Fisher said it will also exclusively engage in sales, marketing, and other related activities for Aesku in the US. In addition, the company will offer installation, maintenance, and support services to US customers. Aesku will continue to manufacture all products under the agreement.
