NEW YORK — Tasso has struck a deal to offer its blood-collection devices in Japan through a new joint venture with Tokyo-based drug development services provider Shin Nippon Biomedical Laboratories, the companies said on Friday.
Under the terms of the arrangement, the JV will have the exclusive right to sell Tasso's products, including its blood self-collection devices, in Japan. The JV will oversee all regulatory, commercialization, and distribution activities.
Financial and other terms were not disclosed.
Earlier this year, Seattle-based Tasso partnered with clinical testing laboratory ARUP Laboratories to offer biomarker testing services for clinical research using samples collected by participants at home.
