NEW YORK (360Dx) – SCRA today announced its entrepreneurial program SC Launch has finalized a $200,000 investment in a molecular diagnostic and laboratory service firm Phi Life Sciences.
SCRA is a non-profit corporation chartered by South Carolina to foster the state's innovation economy.
Based in Charleston, South Carolina, Phi Life Sciences' solutions focus on a bench-to-bedside concept, providing doctors and patients with screening and diagnostic tools to find diseases at the earliest stages. The firm became operational in April 2016 and is headquartered in the SCRA MUSC Innovation Center. Its lab is CAP accredited and CLIA certified, SCRA said.
Among the lab services Phi Life Sciences provides are validation services; clinical trial services; clinical research organization specialty services; and biorepository services. It also offers a pharmacogenomic panel for CYP1A2 testing.
