NEW YORK (GenomeWeb) – Clinical genomics technology startup PierianDx said on Monday that it has inked an Asia-Pacific distribution deal with ScienceVision.
Malaysian genomics firm ScienceVision will commercialize and distribute the PierianDx Clinical Genomics Workspace platform in Southeast Asia, providing access to the platform to hospitals, cancer centers, and genomic laboratories in the region. The technology includes clinical informatics, genome classification, interpretation, and clinical reporting capabilities.
Financial and other terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
With the PierianDx Clinical Genomics Workspace, existing partnerships, and its own technology, ScienceVision now will have the ability to sell end-to-end genomics technology and services in the region, including sequencing, assays, genomic analysis, and analytics, the company said. ScienceVision counts Illumina, ArcherDx, and PerkinElmer among its other partners.
"We are proud and honored to partner with ScienceVision to distribute our precision medicine-enabling platform," BG Jones, senior vice president of business development at St. Louis-based PierianDx, said in a statement. "We welcome the opportunity to deliver CGW with ScienceVision to extend PierianDx's global network of customers."
