NEW YORK (360Dx) – Uppsala, Sweden-based Gyros Protein Technologies announced yesterday that it has signed on Abacus ALS as the exclusive distributor of its immunoassay products in Australia and New Zealand.
Under the terms of the deal, Abacus ALS will be responsible for sales and technical support in the two Australasia nations for all products within Gyros Protein Technologies' nanoliter-scale immunoassay platform business including the Gyrolab xP workstation, Gyrolab xPlore, Bioaffy CDs, Gyrolab kits, Rexxip buffers, and related reagents and services.
Further terms were not disclosed.
"Abacus ALS has a proven track record with over 50 years of experience in building successful partnerships and providing excellent service and technical support in the region," Peter Luk, Asia-Pacific vice president for Gyros Protein Technologies, said in a statement. "This strong market presence and reputation make them an ideal distribution partner for our immunoassay products."
