NEW YORK — French digital pathology software developer Tribvn Healthcare said today that it has raised €5 million ($5.6 million) from private equity firm LBO France.
Tribvn said it will use the money to support business development activities in Europe and North America, as well as further develop its CaloPix software for microscopic and macroscopic image management and its TeleSlide cloud-based application for sharing pathology images and multimedia documents. The company also offers MacroByTribvn, a macroscopic solution that automatically indexes images within a lab's image management system.
"The funding will allow us to increase the added value of our solutions and provide effective solutions to the problems faced by laboratories," Tribvn CEO Jean-François Pomerol said in a statement.
