Danaher, Artificial Intelligence Firm Innovaccer Form Investment Partnership

NEW YORK – Danaher on Thursday announced that its subsidiaries Danaher Diagnostics and Danaher Ventures have formed an investment partnership with healthcare artificial intelligence firm Innovaccer.

San Francisco-based Innovaccer has developed a suite of software solutions that are intended to identify gaps in care and patients who may be at risk, as well as appropriate interventions to improve patient outcomes, Danaher said in a statement.

Innovaccer on Thursday announced separately that it has closed a $275 million Series F funding round that includes participation from Danaher Ventures, as well as B Capital Group, Banner Health, Generation Investment Management, Kaiser Permanente, and M12.

"We believe our investment partnership with Innovaccer will empower patients and speed the transition to more personalized, value-based medicine by providing healthcare providers with the data and analytics needed to drive meaningful clinical insights, more quickly, and at the point of need," Julie Sawyer Montgomery, executive VP at Danaher, said in a statement.

The partnership will "accelerate our efforts to advance diagnostic and clinical AI solutions," Innovaccer Cofounder and CEO Abhinav Shashank added.
