NEW YORK (360Dx) – Pathology services and cancer diagnostics firm Aurora Diagnostics today said it has acquired University Pathologists for an undisclosed amount.
Based in Warwick, Rhode Island, University provides hospital-based anatomic pathology services to eight hospitals affiliated with several systems, and to several physician practices in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island.
Aurora, headquartered in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, operates 27 community-based pathology lab services. The University deal is its 10th overall and the eighth in the hospital lab space since 2013, it said.
