NEW YORK (360Dx) – Arrayit announced on Wednesday that it has received a CLIA license from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services for its Silicon Valley clinical laboratory.
The company's lab has also been certified by the California Department of Public Health.
Arrayit said it has developed a suite of tests designed to measure immunoglobulin E and immunoglobulin G levels for allergy and dietary wellness testing using finger stick blood sampling, blood cards, and a miniaturized and automated microarray format.
"This milestone facilitates our translational medicine initiative, to move Arrayit's leading-edge technology beyond the research laboratory into the clinic," Arrayit CEO Rene Schena said in a statement. "Our advanced microarray tests possess tremendous promise to improve healthcare based on non-invasive finger stick testing and rapid reporting across multiplexed testing panels, delivering actionable medical information for value-based medicine."
