NEW YORK (360Dx) – Point of Care Decision Support and CoaguSense announced today a partnership to streamline the healthcare workflow and improve decision-making by clinicians and patients related to anticoagulant therapy.
PCDS is a St. Paul, Minnesota-based developer of integrated electronic clinical decision support software for individual patient care management. CoaguSense is headquartered in Fremont, California and manufactures portable prothrombin time/international normalized ratio monitoring system for patients on anticoagulant therapies. In a statement, the companies said today's deal brings together PCDS' evidence-based anticoagulation software and CoaguSense's PT2 PT/INR Monitoring system, which recently was cleared by the US Food and Drug Administration.
Financial and other terms of the deal were not disclosed.
